Not sure where my old review went, but I haven't been here for about 20 years and found the combination of alcohol (this was a late nighter following an entire evening in other pubs) and the swaying of the ship on the waves is a bit disconcerting.
Worth a visit.

First time back for a while and first time to visit at a lunchtime. And as we were blessed with a fine day we were able to use the upper deck and bagged one of the tables under the canopy. The upper deck has its own bar but it’s keg products only. Fullers London Pride keg version was on, so we went for that and it was very drinkable on a hot day.
I still rate this as a good experience if you like drinking on a boat with the River Thames as your vista.

A fine old craft that used to be a paddle steamer foot passenger ferry across the Humber Estuary before the Humber Bridge was built in the 70's.It's been a London landmark for many years. The upper deck is used for external drinking and is serviced by two bars in shacks offering keg beer only. However descent to the Wardroom level where the bar is in the bows to the right. There is a lot of wood panelling here,a small upright piano, carpeting and large plate glass windows giving excellent river views .Descent another flight of steps to discover a darker hold with seating booths and a very small additional bar.Two corridors lead from the Ward Room to a rear State Room which is a restaurant or can be hired and looks very plush.Framed photos on the way explain the history of this craft.Pub grub style food is available if you can find a free table, many of which will have timed reservations.
The bar does sport two handpumps but on ordering I was told both the Hobgoblin and Doom Bar were unavailable yet the clips were not reversed, very bad practice. This left some dull mainsteam keg lager and beer ,I did not investigate the bottle options due to copious bar blockers.
Poor for beer but interesting to have a look over, the transient tourist customer base maybe another negative that you may have to bear with.
