Never reopened and was subsequently demolished. A Sainsbury's local store and a charity shop now stand on the site.

This pub shut in December last year and was boarded up and it looked to all intents and purposes that that was that and it was ready for demolition. But went past again today to one of the other pubs in Flackwell Heath and although still currently boarded up, there is a large 'lease for rent' sign bolted on the side, which gives a small ray of hope..
