Komakino . left this review about The Green Dragon
A 30s-style build a fair way away from the main village centre which has had a refurb of late and is no longer the down-at-heel boozer it was a few years back with new carpet and a battleship grey paint scheme. Formerly two rooms, the right-hand entrance door has a new frosted screen which proclaims 'Public Bar & Games Room', although with the former pool table having been removed, a fruity and a dartboard in an alcove behind the bar offer the sole distractions, a large flatscreen TV on the far wall notwithstanding. The room to the left of the L-shaped bar is primarily reserved for dining, with all tables laid for cutlery, although only one of these was in use. Ales were limited to Fuller's London Pride and Rebellion Smuggler with a third pump unclipped. If you get a chance to make it in here, seek out the wooden plaque commemorating the three regulars killed in WW2.
