The only pub in this drive-through village which sits on a ridge in the Chilterns and links the village of Chinnor with West Wycombe. The slant here is on good food (pub classics done well) and there's a cavernous dining area to the right of the bar for that purpose. Drinkers are not unwelcome, and there is a generous bar area for liquid dieters. Two Rebellion ales available on my Friday evening visit–Overthrow and the one-off monthly seasonal Selkie (as in the mythological half-seal, half-human). £6 for the privilege of a pint of the latter means I shan't be making any pitstops here in the foreseeable future.

The Boot at Bledlow Ridge re-opened on Saturday 18th December 2010. The food is excellent and you receive a warm welcome. The decor needs a little work but we understand this is being sorted out. There's a good selection of food, at reasonable prices. The beer is Marstons with guest beers as well - currently they have Rebellion on. Walkers are welcome.
