Street corner Greene King tied house, quite small inside but dominated by a spiral staircase which leads up to both a first floor which has more tables and chairs and down to a small cellar area. The ground floor has a drinking shelf around two sides and a few small circular high tables with a high seating bench in red leather in an alcove.Sadly flatscreen are dotted about everywhere, even in the cellar, and live sport plays a major part in attracting customers. On the first floor there is a recess with two tables which will get you away from the sport.
Corporate GK foodservice pub grub and just two handpumps offering GK IPA and Abbott (Caramel flavoured sugar water ,a foul brew NBSS 2).The awful real ale will keep any serious drinker from venturing inside,it does however have some interest for poor souls who do.

I can't be bothered to add anything to the reviews below as I don't think anything has changed.
There was little in the way of atmosphere in here; other pubs were full.
Greene King beers with two real ciders from Lilley's and yet another half of Neck Oil for £3.20, which is amazing value, considering the area.
Looking just like every other GK pub, this is a glum place, which doesn't serve beers that find favour with me.
I doubt I'll return.

A small traditional corner pub which makes the best of its space by extending over 3 floors joined by a spiral staircase dominating the centre of the bar. Upstairs is a dining area; downstairs is an enclosed room with a Shuflboard. Draught ales were GK IPA and Yardbird, with a number of Lilley's ciders from pump and box in a mini-festival.
