This is no longer a Greene King Pub being acquired by a property developer back in 2018, which doesn't bode well but still functioning as a pub six years on . A rather nice small horseshoe shaped room wrapped around a central bar, traditionally furnished and much nicer than I was expecting despite the cask being a little pedestrian, Timothy Taylor Landlord, Alsops IPA and a turned Sharps Atlantic on the third handle. Despite being in the middle of Fitzrovia the pub had a quite pleasant locals feel about it, taking me off guard. I would have liked some more interesting cask but I quite enjoyed this pub.

A Greene King pub set on a street corner with a comfortable and smart interior.The central bar is well run by some attractive barmaids and the carpeted interior has quite a bit of charm.Bench seating on the right wing leads to a narrow staircase ,but I didn't investigate,while closer to the bar there are high tables.Further to the left feels lounge like,although the flatscreen above the corner door might disturb the peace if the volume is up.Thankfully on mute on my lunchtime visit.
Quite a few handpumps were reversed (noteably TT Landlord),leaving a choice of GK IPA,Old Speckled Hen and St Austell Tribute (on the decline ,too malty).
The pub is wet led and no food is available,shame the ale selection and condition wasn't better .Otherwise I may have considered a revisit.

A nice little pub with leaded windows, a matchboarded bar and a carpeted floor, which is becoming rare in the area. The olive and mid green walls are covered in a selection of framed prints and mirrors, giving quite a pleasant historic effect. Not too sure about the fairy lights strung across the ceiling however. Draught ales were IPA, Old Speckled Hen, Landlord, Tribute and a charity brew.
