Quite a nice looking corner pub with the bar counter made of recycled timber in a welded iron frame. White tiles alternate with wood panelling on the walls. Two hand pumps were unused during my visit apart from my half of Sussex Best. Cruzcampo, Neck Oil, Birra Moretti and Guinness seemed to be the drinks of choice. My beer tended towards the 2-side of NBSS 2.5, but at "only" £3.10 for a half I wasn't going to complain.

A solid sort of pub in an under-pubbed area. The decor is a bit contrived - some original features but dominated by an industrial-quality bar gantry and some spidery light fittings entwined with fake ivy. The back part is covered in assorted prints and photos, while the street outside becomes a vertical drinking area at busy times. It does have a reasonable pub feel to it, however gets a bit mobbed by advertising agency types after work. Beerwise, it had Proper Job and Harvey's Sussex Best on cask and some mainstream Brixton/Beavertown stuff on keg.
