Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Field
Unobtrusive side-street pub, which I almost walked past thinking it was closed. Once inside, the single bar has a lot of the dark wood panelling that is so typical of Mayfair pubs. The bar narrows in the middle, leaving several different seating areas (plus some more tables up a couple of steps at the back). Quite a few screens showing sport, but with the volume thankfully turned right down. Not that busy on a Friday night, which seems a bit odd as the atmosphere was relaxed and the bar staff were welcoming. Six handpumps (although some were doubled up), offering a choice of Adnams, Pride, Doom Bar and a fine pint of Spitfire (£3.40). Overall, a fairly civilised sort of place which I will try again.

Closed and up for rent as a restaurant/bar at £150,000 plus £16,000 rates a year.So if there are any budding Gordon Ramsey's out there do make a bid.
