Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bull & Egret
The former Freemasons Arms has just reopened under different ownership with a new name. The refurbished interior seems lighter and more modern than in its previous incarnation, and I found it still a work in progress although the main ground-floor bar looks nearly finished). However, no sign of its place in the history of the Football Association now visible. I found two of the six handpumps being used, with Spitfire a reminder of what went before and Theakston's Peculier IPA (£6.60) being something new.

interesting experience in this pub as I seemed to stumble into a gathering of ‘very important men’ with strong East African accents. Always liked Sheps ales and they were in good form here. ornate-ish interior. A good pub once you get over those bloody prices, argh!!!

A standard Sheps London pub, obviously as Tris found it a few days before me,Sixs pumps with the usual range, uninspiring.
