Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cittie of Yorke
First revisit for 12 years, but - apart from the steep increase in prices - nothing seems to have changed (which is just as it should be for a landmark Samuel Smith's pub like this). The main baronial hall bar can seem a bit cavernous when it's not crowded (however this is not usually a problem in the early evening...), but it's worth a visit at any time just to look at the interior. On this visit, I was on the hunt for the rarely produced 8% Yorkshire Stingo (£8.00) that thankfully sat on the handpumps next to the regular cask OBB.

Impressive pub which was on my hit list for the day. Well described below but I especially liked the enormous vats above the bar. Sam Smiths beers so no surprises but I don't go in many Smiths pubs so I enjoyed an OBB. Well worth a visit.
