It's such a shame that even though some of the staff here have worked really hard to turn this little gem around it all gets spoiled by a selfish, unpleasant and rude landlord. Good food, entertainment, excellent beer but unfortunately this all counts for nothing when the landlord makes it plain that he wants to lock up an hour early because it's a quiet night. The clues were not difficult to see, £3 for two small lime and sodas when they had previously charged 50p each, lights turned out, music turned off and comments like 'I'm closing up you'll have to go spend you money somewhere else'. I'm sure the pub will survive as it really is a nice little place but I won't spend anymore of my money there.
