This village pub was very quiet at the time of our midweek, mid-afternoon visit, though I can imagine the weekend would see it a lot busier, given the size of the car park and the beer garden. The original pub building has been added to haphazardly over the years, leading to a complex area inside, with a relatively small bar near the entrance. There's a pool table and a large screen TV, which at the time of our visit was showing a programme for very young children to a totally empty room. The two beers on the bar were nothing to get excited about: Bass and Doom Bar.
