What a great place for the family!
My wife and I have had many a happy hour sat outside the Ferryboat soaking up the sun and indulging in a drink or two. We have had lovely meals there with the kids, at reasonable prices, and just recently in August we came back after being away for a couple of years to find the Ferryboat re-styled, gone is the little family room in the back, gone are the stinky old toilets, gone are the care worn tables and chairs, all to be replaced anew. The Ferryboat has been completely restyled and looks GREAT! We sat outside and had a pint in the sun and then scuppered our own plans for fish n chips and decided to stay for a meal, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and no small portions either. Excellent Value!!!
