Looking a bit tired on the outside, inside is surprising as it’s a tarted up dining pub with modern stone flags. I wasn’t expecting much going by the descriptions maybe some old men drinking lager but no it’s dining pub and equally objectionable to me. The front area, possibly the original pub has an L shaped counter and is basically two areas, on the left tables and chairs while to the right a comfortable seating area with leather sofas and armchairs. At the back it drops down into another area more for dining, to the side of there is a conservatory with the toilets and more seating. There is also a small charity bookstall in the conservatory. The counter supports a single pull on each face both with a disgusting vinegar Greene King IPA plus a selection of standard UK kegs on high T-Bars, John Smiths Smooth and Carling among them. Very pro cash although cards accepted, being an old git I deliberately proffered a twenty. Piped music and food smell permeate the place.

I thought this pub looked like a proper pub from the outside and would probably have a real ale on i was wrong.
This pub is quite large inside with one large room that i could see there were no real ales on here and the fizz beers were Tetley smooth and John Smiths smooth rubbish.
I thought this pub was a bit dissapointing.
