Public bar in an old and quite posh (expensive) hotel. The bar is to the left and is basically a long thin room with the counter against the left hand wall, there is a wider area at the front end with some tables and chairs and another similar space on the other side of the main revolving door. Other than a few bar stools and some taller tables further back, that’s about it furniture wise. Three hand pumps are at one end of the counter serving a decent Batemans 5G, Landlord and Sharps Atlantic, a couple of T-Bars and a few solos offer an unexceptional keg choice. Not much decor just some rather florid wallpaper, there are a couple of big screens and a juke box. It has a rear garden as well.

This is a largish pub in the middle of Louth that was probably an hotel as well years ago.
Once inside this pub had been done up and i thought it would probably cater for the younger drinkers in the evening.
There was one real ale on here this was Black Sheep bitter which was ok but nothing to shout about.

When I looked up this pub it said "no one had recommended it".... I'm not suprised !!!
