Traditional-looking village inn, but mostly refurbished in a modern style. The larger bar is is more of a restaurant, but the smaller room retains a homely feel with a lively atmosphere. Fairly upmarket menu. Two of three handpumps operational, offering Black Sheep and Abbot (£2.85).

Apr 07- recently refurbushed throughout and concentrating on good food. Back room is restuarant - prices on high side but chef cooked and good.
Can also have bar meals in front room which are really nice.
Decor is now very good and staff friendly and helpful.
