This is a nice looking thatched building, with a pleasant interior marred only by unavoidable pop music. The bar is to the right, though there is also an extension into the smaller room to the left. Interestingly, there's a serving hatch to the beer garden in the yard behind, where a good sized crowd was soaking up the sun at the time of our visit. Having just cycled 60 miles on the warmest day of the year, we stayed inside to enjoy the cool and shade. Bateman's beers are the only ones available, XXXB, XB and Yella Belly at the time of our visit, augmented by Old Rosie cider.
