The Fighting Cocks is in the centre of the village and faces the small square.
This is a smallish pub and the front door is closed you have to use the side door once through this there is a pool table on the right and the bar is to the left and this is a smallish room which was carpeted and seemed like a proper old pub,there was another room which was fairly long and narrow but this was empty, the bar area was quite busy with drinkers.
This pub is a Batemans tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Batemans XB and this was a very nice drink the other beer was GK Abbot.
This is a proper old locals pub.
