Strongers . left this review about The Burton House

Burton House is a Brewer’s Fayre adjacent to a Premier Inn so acts as the breakfast and dinner restaurant. Unlike many BF pubs this one is still open to non-hotel guests. Inside is a sprawling dry led pub with a counter along the rear wall that serves carvery to the right and beer to the left. Standard and premium keg were available and the two hand pumps were drawing Doom Bar and Greene King IPA. The twenty minute walk into town was worth it to avoid spending more than a fleeting visit in here, although I must admit that I’ve been into worse BF pubs.
