Attractive half-timber exterior. Inevitably a let-down inside, with the colour scheme of a Communist era Bulgarian public convenience. 100% sausage clientele crowded around the bar. One cask on, a surprisingly fair Marstons Pedigree (NBSS 3).

Positives!
Really nice clean traditional type pub with a large selection of hand drawn beers, lagers, spirits and wines etc. Soft drinks too. Also provides accommodation. Easy access to a large car park. Great food, great chefs and a very friendly front of house staff. Add to that easy to converse with 'regulars' and its a winner!
