Three on, a mixed bag of Oakham Citra (poor – NBSS 1.5) and much better samples of Greengate Worldie and St Austell Tribute, both NBSS 3.5. Decent sized rear garden but I found the interior rather gloomy and basic in places.

The Dog and Gun is a decent looking pub that is spoilt slightly by having a green/grey paint job that lots of pubs are now having.
Once inside there was a largish bar at the front of the pub which is where we had a drink,this room had a tiled floor near the bar and it was carpeted to the left,the seating was bench type with small stools,there was a larger lounge/ dining room to the side of the bar this room was carpeted and had normal tables and chairs.
There were four real ales on the bar and i had a drink of St Austell Tribute and this was a decent drink the other beers were GK IPA and Abbot and also Old Speckled Hen making me think this may have been a Greene King house but there was no indication of this outside.
