The White Hart, Melton Mowbray

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about White Hart

Obviously quite an old establishment, but the interior has been substantially remodelled and refurbished over the years. Only a few earlier features remain, such as a couple of the metal columns, and all the (basic) furniture is disconcerting modern. Decor is limited, but somebody has made a bit of an effort to put a few bits and pieces up on some of the walls. The bar and pool table are separated from the front seating area (also used for live music by the look of things) by a couple of steps. Distinctly non-background music even early on a Saturday lunchtime. Two of three handpumps in use, offering Doom Bar and the 'house' (Marston's) White Hart Ale (£3.00).
