Large Everards roadside pub/eatery. There's a bit of character internally though their refurb goons have had a crack at smothering it in blandness – fortunately the large 1920s-ish rear bay window remains and is the architectural highlight. There’s a specific sports zone with pool, darts and TV. Just Tiger on at the bar cask-wise, which the conscientious young barmaid changed when it spluttered, with apologies. The eventual output wasn't as good as I'd hoped (NBSS 2.5) it tasted old even though it was fresh through as I saw her pull it. Three keg Everards as well. Most of the punters were out on the impressive rear garden which also had a climbing frame and sandpit! Wasn’t particularly impressed with this one – I think I preferred the GK Field Head over the road. 4.5
