After visiting the queens arms recently i agree that it was in a lovely location the pub looked very nice on the outside but after further investigation i feel it was lacking a little care and attention ie. cigarette ends and rubbish seemed to be everywhere outside, the cask ale beer wasnt bad although the place seems to cater for a younger generation as there was quiet a few teenagers hanging around at the bar not drinking the menu is traditional pub grub,i ordered steak and ale pie although a little dry was it was quiet tasty, this could be a very good pub i felt it lacked any direction or control but lets give the landlady a chance as i later found out she had only been there since december 2011 and seemed rushed of her feet not knowing which way to turn although this is her first pub would i go again probably not this is my opinion try it yourself posted 24/08/2012

The Queens Arms is a decent looking pub in the nice looking village of Leire.
Once inside the pub had one largish L shaped room which was empty on my visit, the seating was fairly normal and the pub lacked any atmosphere.
This pub is a Marstons tied house and there were four pumps on the bar but all were turned round,i asked if any real ale was available but the landlady said no beers only cider or lager so i had a Guinness which was bland.
I am not sure if this pub was changing hands as there were very few drinks to try here.
