Gloomy looking from the outside and that’s also true within; maybe the wrong time of day for the sun to penetrate? Mind you, the COVID era grey paint - including the ceiling! - didn't help and neither did the chairs that were sourced from an Indian restaurant catalogue. It’s two areas either side of the entrance which have clearly been opened-out. Despite a fire on the go in both it felt a bit cold. Two cask on over three pumps, GK OSH and a decent TT Landlord (NBSS 3), my half served in a buttplug-esque Carling glass. Quality 80s soundtrack through from what sounded like a German radio station. With a bit of imagination this could be a winner, the basics are there. 5.5

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Fox Inn
Self-described as 'the village pub in Lutterworth town', and that's probably not that wide of the mark (although the refurbishment - with a mix of traditional and modern elements - is a bit soulless). Anyway, the bar area and side lounge are comfortable enough, but I was surprised to find no menus but a street-food van out in the car park. However, all four handpumps were in use, dispensing Doom Bar and Landlord plus a couple of siblings: Old Speckled Hen and Old Golden Hen (£4.40).

The Fox Inn is a nice looking pub that is set sideways onto the busy rugby road.
Once inside there was a single room with the bar facing,the left side was more like a bar with a bare black painted floor and narrow wood pews for seating,there was a large fire roaring away to the left and a TV above it,the right side was carpeted and had normal tables and chairs.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Salopian Shropshire Gold which was a very nice drink,the other beers were Bass,Doom Bar and Wadworth 6X.
I quite liked this pub and would have happily stayed longer if not on a pub crawl.
