Rather nice is this, three distinct areas around a central servery, going from games room then bar then a more loungy bit, then an eating area at the back, plus various outside areas should the weather ever clear up. Pleasantly cosy and traditional, they've resisted the high tables and grey paint brigade. Bradfield Farmer's Blonde was served with a smile, the other choice was Abbot, suggesting GK are lurking in the background.
We were the only punters on a dismal weekday afternoon, so Covid safety wasn't an issue. I'd be very happy if this was my local

The aim of your host, Vaness, at The Bell Inn, is to provide a traditional village pub where anyone and everyone is welcomed into her home to meet, socialise, eat or just have a quick drink after work.
The pub is a proper, traditional village local with a warm and friendly atmosphere. It has not only a good selection of real ales, lager's and wines but also some wonderful home cooked meals on the menu. There are 2 real log fires to welcome you on a cold winters night. It is ideally situated close to the Leicestershire stretch of the Grand Union canal.
