Another pub visited in 2019 but not written up here. It was a "dreadful modernised 19th century hotel - 1970s wallpaper and kitch", which I don't think was short for kitchen! According to my notes I seem to have had a half of Doom Bar but didn't feel the necessity of commenting on its condition.

Large pub/restaurant situated on the edge of the village with large car park.Very popular with cliental from outside the village with a busy restaurant.Good reports on food which is on the expensive side. Two well kept real ales. This is a place for families/couples.Plenty of open air seating-well used on sunny days whatever the season.Bus stops outside.

Yet another pub that has been gutted and filled with veneered flooring and leather seats, plus an identikit dining area. Soulless.
