Fairly twee staple-shaped place with an off-white paint job applied somewhat too liberally, including the wooden furniture. Smart converted bridle carriageway and patio to the rear. The save is at the bar with three ales - TTL, something un-noted and Charnwood Vixen (NBSS 3.5), served by a polite barman. GBG listed (the only one in Quorn) which is understandable but only a ticker of said book would pilgrimage. 6.5

One of several pubs around the middle of the Village, a corner pub it has slightly pretentious decor with kitchen tables and chairs as well as banquette seating at the edges, there’s a back room in similar style. The objects on the walls have been carefully chosen to enhance the ambiance. Three pulls on the counter which incorporates a tree trunk with twigs and fairy lights, the beers being Charnwood Vixen, Landlord and Proper Job. There’s a couple of T-Bars and solos, one of which is Clarkson’s lager thingy. Food and cake also available. The staff are nice and mostly engaged. Pleasant enough and GBG2025 listed.
