Sightly out of (what passes for) the town centre. Looks pretty decent from the outside what with its cottage-y look and thatched roof. Inside is fairly nice as well, traditional décor if fairly new in fitting, old oak beams aside. An odd staple-shaped layout, presumably used to have a parlour bar? Three cask available in Pedigree, TTL and a decent drop of the local(ish) Little Brewery’s Loop (NBSS 3). Shame I caught it at a very quiet time, a few minutes after opening. Would make an effort to look in again another day. 6.5
