Old Boots left this review about The Manor House
A large station hotel built for the Great Central Railway whose station is across the road, now home to the heritage railway’s extensive wagon collection. Very modernised from what may have been its Edwardian pomp, nothing remains of any period features inside. It’s an open plan sort of place with remnants of walls giving separated areas. The L shaped counter has four pulls a horseshoe and a Korev and Camden solo, a few more interesting beers on the horseshoe unlike the Bass and Landlord on the pulls, a local from Charnwood was on a third with corporate advertising on the fourth, quality was just above average.
