Alan Winfield left this review about The Red Lion Inn
The Red Lion is a decent looking white painted pub that is on a side street off the busy leicester road, the pub is situated quite close to the church.
Once inside there was a room at the front this was carpeted and had the bar in it,there was a TV in the corner you could then walk through to another smaller room which was to the left this was similar in style to the main room with bench seating and a TV in the corner.
There was a large garden at the rear of the pub.
This pub is a Marstons tied house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Marstons Pedigree and this was'nt on top form the other beers were Marstons bitter and Hobgoblin.
The pub was very quiet on our dinner time visit and there seemed to be something lacking in this pub but not sure what.
