Plenty busy at 12.15 on a Sunday with a lively atmosphere and given what I had encountered 5 minutes earlier at the Swan I could easily see why. Layout consists of two rooms which have been knocked-through at the bar area; left side is loungey with a mild railway theme whilst pool and darts were in the other, public bar. St George's bunting gives you an idea that this is more the working man’s boozer in this otherwise upmarket little town. Friendly service and the new barman was instructed by the landlady to top my beer up a bit by way of putting a little extra into a half - he enthusiastically pulled about halfway up the glass before she jumped in with a yelp. There were two cask on over three pumps with slate clips (la di dah!), Tring Side Pocket (NBSS 3.5) and sluggish, possibly barrel-end, Batemans (2). I enjoyed it here, better than expected. 6.5

The Railway is a stand alone pub that has got a mock tudor upper half,the pub is on the busy road that links the two Kibworths.
Once inside this pub had one room which was carpeted to the left this area had bench seating and normal tables and chairs,the right side had a pool table, dart board and TV showing sports.
There were three real ales on here i had a drink of Bass and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Brains Bread of Heaven and Courage best.
This is a decent community pub and i was quite happy having a drink in here.
