Everards place in an attractive stone building end-on to the street, the frontage of which is sadly a bit disfigured by a jumbo gazebo in the driveway. Unlike Alan I think the conservatory extension looks good and is nicely-done, drawing in plenty of light. Plenty of fauna out front which looks inviting. Porch entrance with a nice olde worlde lounge to the right and a dark varnished tongue and groove wood-clad public bar to the left which had a dart board and horse racing on the telly. There are some nice old features retained (eg the doors). Three cask on, my first choice of Old Original was vinegar (NBSS 1), its replacement of Tiger took an age to sort out – it was par (3). Very nice pub, shame about the awful first pint. I’d give it another go as I want to like it. 6.5

This is an Everards tied house which i think has been spoilt by adding the the long narrow conservatory to the front of the pub you can still see some of the original front of the pub through the windows of the conservatory.There was the usual range of Everards beers on the bar with the Beacon Bitter and Tiger Bitter very good.
