Large, charmless knocked-through barn. The two-tone COVID era paint job is chipped and the general feel is that of a Friday night lager pub. Two pumps with a token ale, an unusual choice of Woodfordes Nelsons which didn't fully clear (NBSS 2) though the friendly barmaid did say that it might be towards barrel end so fair enough, I couldn’t be arsed to argue the toss over a half. Much mirth as the hapless licensees and extended gaggle tried to work out why the radiators were on at full blast on an already warm day. I decided to keep schtum.

The George is in the middle of Blaby.
The pub has got quite a long frontage,once inside the pub was more of a diners pub and it had been opened out.
When i first went in this pub it was an Ind Coope tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Ind Coope bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Ansells mild.
I dont know what this pub is like now as i did'nt go in when i took the photo.
