Generic modernised and opened-out 60s pub in a part of town that's a bit down-at-heel. Pub tagged as rough but seemed alright to me - though the cliché of thudding dance music at 5pm, no cask and no character in a stark set of dark blue and white shades ticked the stereotype grot boxes. Bouncy castle in the garden, clearly labelled as being for kids only – “where there’s a sign, there’s a story” as they say. Cobs and pies on an old skool whirly dispenser, so half a mark there.
