The local ‘robust’ pub though the punters were largely harmless despite excessive volume. Large inside with traces of an expensive late 80s/early 90s refit and the bar upper with mounted (and working) clock is likely of older vintage and there's Portuguese style tiling on the lower servery as well. Sadly it’s all rather scruffy round the edges but was well-patronised on my weekday evening visit. Three dead cask pumps, Mansfield Smooth was the most interesting keg, served-up by a polite but disengaged barmaid.
