I last tried to visit this village pub almost 5 years ago, when it was closed due to a family bereavement.
It was open when I returned late on Sunday afternoon. There are 2 small rooms, with Indian food being served. On our visit, the real ale was Abbot.
We chatted with locals and were mildly amused by the confusion around how to serve gin. But the attraction of this pub is its secluded location next to a brook. Certainly a pleasant village local.
