Mish-mashy place that has been partially refurbished a few times and is a bit jarring. Festooned with flags, from St George's bunting through to Leicester City, Tigers, Notts Forest (?), Celtic (??) and an old school Pride flag (???). Radiators blasting away despite the sunshine. Two pumps with ales from Everards and Brunswick. My Tiger was conditioned nicely but lacked a bit of throughput to gain the score it should have attained (NBSS 3 in the end). Excellent banter amongst the old boys and the somewhat credulous barmaid. Decent covered rear garden out the back. Oadby town centre’s best bet from what I saw (although I didn’t do the Fox, tbf). 6.5
