Blue Scrumpy left this review about Cross Keys

Marston's pub which was probably the most disappointing of Burbage's pubs. There were a few customers in, but the interior is nothing special and the cask ale range of Pedigree & Wainwright Gold was boring.

The pub consists of multiple rooms around a central bar. Flooring is laminate. Walls are black panelling with a mustard paint. The rear room had a bit of a cricket theme and also had a TV. Beyond is an outdoor patio and garden with a tented area.

The bar sported a couple of sets of 2 handpulls and one set of 3. So, there is potential for 7 ales. Wychwood Hobgoblin IPA was the pick of the keg beers. Thatcher's Gold was the cider.

Jones Bistro appears to be based on the premises. There is a kitchen off to the left-hand side, but there was no sign of anybody eating. Children and dogs are welcome.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cross Keys

Unbranded Marston's pub in the village centre opposite the church, with a layout as traditional as you might hope for. This features three (partly opened-out) main rooms around the central servery, each with their own counter, with a former serving point in the full-length corridor to one side. The snug-like lounge to the left of the entrance is the most appealing, and there is another small side room beyond that with more modern furniture and decor as in the other areas. Also has a patio beer garden at the back. Pedigree, Wainwright, 61 Deep and Ringwood Razor Back (£4.00) available from a total of seven handpumps.
