Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Ashby Tavern
Reasonable locals boozer located towards the north-east edge of town, partly opened-out inside to leave a 'U'-shaped bar with a pool room beyond on one side and plenty of sports TVs. Given an unfussy, semi-modern refurbishment at some stage, and all tidy enough (albeit a bit spooked-up for Halloween). Also has a couple of benches out front. With two of the four handpumps in use, I found Doom Bar and Wainwright (£3.50) available.
