The Stamford and Warrington is a very nice looking pub that is situated close to the level crossings on the busy high street.
Once inside it is like going back in time to the 60s,the pub still has two seperate rooms,i had a drink in the room to the right which was the bar, this room was quite small with basic bench seats and stools that looked years old.
There were a few pictures of locals on the walls and a large Golly Wog hanging above the gas fire, there was a lounge to the left but this room was in darkness.
There were three pumps on the bar all having Pedigree on,i had a drink of Pedigree and this was a really nice well kept drink.
The pub was very busy at 11 in the morning with older drinkers.
I really liked this pub,if you want to see what pubs looked like in the 60s then give this pub a try you wont be dissapointed.
