Fairly modern fit-out multi-roomer with an island bar. Left side is where the locals go. This has had the cursed grey paintbrush but at least there's three shades of grey (at least not 50) to break things up a bit. The right side was more my thing with fabric banquettes and some exposed stone. Three ales on the go; GK OSH, Sharps Sea Fury and Bass (NBSS 3.5) which was a fresh pull through on the first serve of the day. Simple Minds on the stereo; landlord is a fan, as am I, so that led to a bit of chat. Bit of banter from the other lads in situ, trades who had knocked off early. Decent pub and one of the Bass triumvirate in town.

The pub is a bit of a walk from the middle of Whitwick.
