A very pleasant pub and easily the best in the village. A rather basic room to the left (just some high tables and a TV) and a more comfortable lounge to the right where you’ll find the real ale. Purity Gold and Wigan Dry Bones today with two unclipped. Clientele and atmosphere much more upmarket than in the Bridge but it’s still very much a local. Some were eating pizzas and a £5.95 burger offer is also advertised on a poster.

Good community pub. Old fashioned interior has been modernised making it more bright and airy.
