Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bell
Curious place, with most of the tables laid up for those dining (of whom there were none when I called in on a Wednesday evening, although there may have been earlier), but two TV screens had also been installed for the European football. Also has a separate dining area to the left of the entrance (also empty). Disappointingly, the only cask ale on the three handpumps would have been Adnams Ghost Ship, had that not run out... The Foghorn Hazy Session IPA from (Charles Wells) Brewpoint was also off, but thankfully the Lodestar Pacific Pale Ale (£6.20) was actually on one of the other keg taps.

A Wells & Young pub a brisk walk from nearby Stoke Mandeville Hospital and which forms a close-enough triumvirate with SM's other two pubs. A main bar area to the right on entry. Part-boarded, part-new flagstone floor and seating mixing dining and drinking. Semi-dining room to the left, unused on my weeknight visit. Nice beer garden and patio area to the left of the pub which shares space with car park. CW Eagle IPA and Tring Side Pocket For A Toad on two of the three pumps - £4.10 for the Tring and OK. They offer 20% NHS discount plus one, so make sure you bring a doctor or nurse friend along with you.
