Reopened by owners of Andertons sports bar (town centre) and spruced up a bit but now covered in hideous grey paint and more TVs than I remember. No real ale. It’s a friendly enough Wigan pub but still no real reason to come here.

nice pub, shame about the beer. looks like the real ale is long gone. friendly enough traditional pub with silly boozer jokes written all over the wall. two very serious drinkers at the bar staring at pints of lager. not really worth a visit but pop in if you're walking past.

Reasonably nice inside with one real ale on out of 5 handpumps. Outside it looks tatty but a friendly enough welcome.
