Looks like a good traditional pub but inside is a bit of a confusing place and spoiled by poor design choices in recent times. The colour scheme is a mixture of grey and off-white and the decor a bit of a mess, it clearly majors on live music and karaoke at night. No real ale available on my visit but it definitely has had it in the past. Wigan Lane has really gone to the dogs in the last few years, botched refurbs and an awful atmosphere everywhere.

Old fashioned local on Wigan Lane, my Grandmother worked here many moons ago.
