Reopened last Friday ! Called in 2016-02-5 Warm welcome. Blacksheep and Wainwright on hand pull.
Food will be served in a month after a complete refurb ! Another handpull available for future use.

Hadn't been in The Gallows for over a year or two until last Sunday evening. My past experiences of this pub had been ambivalent but not in any negative sense as the atmosphere was cordial enough. However, what a change last Sunday as I felt I had walked in on a 18-30 Club meeting. The place was full of youths,both male and female all shouting at the tops of their voices. Every other word seemed to be a profanity. They seemed to be competing as to who could get the most swear words into one sentence. Unfortunately I had ordered a pint before fully realising how unpleasant the atmosphere was. I had a couple of mouthfuls and left - I will not be going back. I can only rate it + 1 as there is no - 1.
