Known locally as "The Cat In The Square" this is a one roomed pub with a couple of distinct areas where the old rooms used to be. Every table was set up for food on a Friday lunchtime. It's an old pub but almost all the distinguishing features have been modernised and lost. All the table & chairs are dining style and there's a quiz machine, they also do accomodation. Three handpumps on the bar serving Black Sheep Bitter, Tetleys Bitter & Bank Top Gold Digger. I had a Bank Top which was OK without being top notch. It's an OK pub but not one I'll go out of my way to visit again.
