Old moorland inn on Edenfield Moor above Rochdale reputedly named after an old landlady. Decent views across Ashfield Moor reservoir which is facing the pub. Three old oak beamed rooms in the pub, taller customer will need to duck. The rooms on the left and right are set up for dining. The middle one has a few tables for drinkers. There are also a few tables outside adjacent to the split level car park which are a real sun trap in summer. Two handpumps on the bar serving Phoenix Arizona & Jennings Cumberland Ale. My pint of Arizona was in good nick and I went outside to bask in the sunshine. It was quite quiet inside for a Friday lunchtime at 13:30 but all but one of the tables outside were taken. It's a pleasant enough place to call for a beer, but it is food led and can be crazy on a sunny Sunday.
