good clean pub busy most weekends karaoke djs bit boring landlady very nice but cant say same bout bar staff above themselves mostly same crowd every nite look at new customers when they walk in as if they from outer space but got to credit them with the cleanliness of pub

Locals pub a few hundred yards from the town centre. 3 handpumps usually serving Phoenix beers + Thwaites Bomber. Very competitively priced. Separate Pool room, large screen TV, often has karaoke sessions. Due to the shape/design of the pub with the bar being immediately through the door this pub always looks busy. Beer is kept OK but not always top notch. Worth a visit when in the area.
